The Black Eyed Peas and Craig David will appear on The Voice UK next month, during the Knockouts, ITV have confirmed.
When the show enters its crucial knockout stage, Craig David will be on hand to give advice to Olly Murs when he’s tasked with difficult decisions about his team.
“Because I know Olly so well I can be very honest with him so hopefully my opinions will help him make his decision, but ultimately this is his gig,” Craig said.
Meanwhile, The Black Eyed Peas will help their bandmate Will.i.am when he chooses which two of his six acts will progress to the semi-final.
taboo said: “Considering the fact will has been doing this for many years now it’s great to be part of this with him. We have been talking about making this happen. For me it’s exciting because we are here to support our brother and see exactly what sort of team he has got.”
While apl.de.ap added: “It is a very exciting moment, a big moment for will as he will have to make some really big decisions to eliminate people and keep people. We want to be here to support him with that and give him some ideas and pointers.”
Mentors for fellow coaches Sir Tom Jones and Jennifer Hudson will be revealed soon.
The Knockout round airs this March on ITV, following the conclusion of the Battles. The Voice continues this Saturday from 8:15pm.
