Dancing On Ice host Phillip Schofield has been teasing the return of the skating series, revealing there has been big changes.
The series originally ran from 2006 up until it was put on a hiatus in 2014, but it is finally coming back and it’s bigger and better – well, according to Phillip…
Teasing the brand new series, Schofield said: “The whole set is different, the way the show is being done is different and there are big screens with great projection onto the ice. That’s going to be amazing.”
Meanwhile, Holly Willoughby is looking forward to shopping for new outfits, saying: “I haven’t started shopping yet. I am looking forward to that. There are not many shows where you can really glam up.
“I am also looking forward to seeing what the skaters are wearing – that whole explosion of sequins, glitter and glamour especially in January when it is just dark and dreary.”
Legendary skating duo Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean are back for the new series – this time as judges – alongside Jason Gardiner and Ashley Banjo.
The show returns to ITV on Sunday, January 7 at 6pm.
