Stephanie Davis is reportedly “extremely upset” at the news of Jeremy McConnell’s early release from prison, after he was sentenced for assaulting her.
The former Hollyoaks actress was left battered with bruises after Jeremy assaulted her. However, he initially received a suspended sentence from the judge.
He was only put behind bars when he broke the conditions of his 200 hours community service, and was handed a 18-week prison term.
But the former CBB contestant was released from jail earlier today (December 27) after an appeal he submitted was successful.
A close pal of Steph told The Sun: “Steph had to watch Jeremy walk free the first time round and now he’s been let out early, it’s like he’s got off scot-free all over again.
“She’s extremely upset at the decision. People are rallying around her as best they can. Steph walked away from the public eye to get herself back on her feet and she’s been doing really well.
“Today’s news has knocked the wind out of her sails and she’s not happy.”
Jeremy and Stephanie first on Celebrity Big Brother 2016, and shortly after the series ended they had their child Caben-Albi together.
