UPDATED: Home And Away actress Jessica Falkholt in critical condition after car crash which killed her parents

Home And Away star Jessica Falkholt is said to be fighting for her life, following a tragic car crash which killed her parents.

The 28-year-old was taken to hospital, along with her sister Annabelle, 21, following the crash.

Jessica’s sister Annabelle has now died from her injuries, New South Wales Police have confirmed, according to the Sydney Morning Herald, taking the death toll up to four.

Annabelle’s boyfriend Jordan has taken to Facebook to pay tribute to her, describing her as a “kind, gentle soul” and added that he hopes Jessica can pull through.

The girls’ parents Lars, 69, and Vivian, 60, were both killed in the head-on collision, on the New South Wales coast, with the driver of the other car also killed.

9 News Australia are reporting that the crash occurred on Boxing Day as a result of one car driving on the wrong side of the road.

Jessica only had a brief appearance on Australian soap Home And Away back in 2016, where she played Hope Morrison – who was involved in a kidnapping and taken away to prison.

A friend of Falkholt told the Sydney Morning Herald: “They were a very close family and had been on a quiet getaway. Jessica is a most beautiful person.”

Home And Away have not yet released a statement or comment on the incident.
