Big Brother presenter Rylan Clark-Neal has announced he is to leave his This Morning role after Christmas.
Rylan, 29, has been the face of This Morning’s showbiz segment since he joined the ITV show in 2014, with his own slot most recently billed as ‘Ryland’.
He even made history on the show last year when he presented alongside his husband and former Big Brother contestant Dan Clark-Neal.
But the presenter has announced he will leave after next week, while insisting it’s NOT goodbye and that he will be back in the future.
He revealed to Holly and Phil: “I’ve not really said anything but after Christmas, next Friday, I’m going to be going away for a little bit.”
He insisted that he will be back, adding:”It’s definitely not goodbye but I’m going to be taking a little bit of a break for a little bit in the new year.
“But I just want to say thank you because it’s been lovely and I will be back. I will be back.”
Since his appearance on The X Factor, Rylan has become one of the nations most-loved TV presenters, with the 29-year-old fronting Big Brother’s Bit on the Side, his own chat show Up Late With Rylan, game show Babushka and The Wave – which airs in January.
