With the final drawing ever closer, the six remaining couples in Strictly Come Dancing were more nervous than ever for the results show.
The show began with a group dance from the professionals, with music from the cast of Dreamgirls, before the first set of results were announced.
After a nerve-wracking wait, it was revealed that Davood and Nadiya were the first couple in the dance-off.
Then, there was music from west-end stars Leading Ladies, who performed ‘I’m Every Woman’, before the judges gave us their weekly London on last night’s dances.
Next, Tess revealed the second couple in danger. Despite being at the top of the leaderboard, Alexandra and Gorka found themselves facing the dance-off for the second week in a row.
In the end, the judges chose to save Alexandra and Gorka, meaning that sadly, it was Davood and Nadiya who narrowly missed out on a place in next week’s semi-final.
Davood and Nadiya will join Zoe on tomorrow’s ‘It Takes Two’ at 6:30pm on BBC Two.
Strictly Come Dancing returns next Saturday at 6:45pm on BBC One for the semi-final.
