So Macho singer Sinitta has joined the lineup of Channel 4’s Celebrity First Dates, after being axed from The X Factor.
Sinitta had been music mogul Simon Cowell’s right hand woman on The X Factor over the last two years, helping him choose which contestants will progress to the live shows.
However, the singer previously revealed that she had been dropped from her yearly gig, and replaced by former judge Cheryl at short notice.
But the star has managed to bag another TV role – in the shape of Celebrity First Dates – as she admits she is “ready to have another strong male influence in her life”.
“Sinitta hasn’t had the best of luck with men,” an insider told The Sun newspaper. “Her relationship broke down and she’s going through a rocky period with Simon.”
X Factor 2016 winner Matt Terry will join Sinitta, along with 14 other celebrities as staff Fred, Sam, CiCi, Merlin and Laura reopen the doors to the famous restaurant.
The brand new series of Celebrity First Dates is part of Channel 4’s Stand Up To Cancer.
