Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt and most recently, the I’m A Celebrity 2016 winner, is the brand new face of the ITV jungle shows spin off Extra Camp.
26-year-old Scarlett has landed yet another TV gig since winning I’m A Celebrity, and it involves her getting on a plane and going back Down Under.
According to The Sun newspaper, ITV bosses have chosen Scarlett to replace axed ‘I’m A Celebrity: Extra Camp’ hosts Vicky Pattison and Chris Ramsey – who only hosted for one series.
A source told the tabloid: “This is a huge gig for Scarlett and one she’s worked hard to get. Last year’s show was just a bit too chaotic for producers, so they wanted to switch things up. The current plan is to have Scarlett host the show alongside two other presenters.”
The source continued by saying it’s most likely that couple Joe Swash and Stacey Solomon will return to the spin off show alongside Scarlett.
“At the moment that is most likely to see Stacey return with her boyfriend Joe as they were happy with them last time round.
“It’s a massive test for Scarlett but ITV were chuffed with her in the jungle and the job she did on Ant And Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway so think she’s well worth the punt.”
Since winning I’m A Celebrity, Scarlett has been inundated with job offers, some of which seen her help present the National Television Awards alongside Dermot O’Leary, co-host Saturday Night Takeaway with Ant and Dec, and most recently present revived nineties show Streetmate on Channel 4.
I’m A Celebrity returns to ITV in November.
