Celebrity Big Brother returns to our screens in just a matter of weeks and rumours are now circulating, linking celebrities to the new series.
One celebrity that has been heavily rumoured and even confirmed by a source to be taking part in the show is rapper Lil’ Kim.
An insider for the 41-year-old rapper has said that she’s finally been booked for the show after bosses have hounded her for years.
Channel 5 are reportedly paying Lil’ Kim one of the highest fees ever in the history of the show for her to be in the house later this month.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: “Producers are thrilled they’ve finally got her. It’s taken a lot of cash but they are confident she will be worth it.”
If reports are true, Lil’ Kim will be paid around £500,000 for a place on the show, approximately the same as former housemates David Gest and Katie Price were paid.
The insider added: “This will be Kim’s chance to set the record straight and have her say on all the rumours. Bosses are hoping she will be outspoken inside the house and make it an explosive series.”
Meanwhile, former Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, Lady Colin Campbell, Union J’s Jaymi Hensley, former Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, Mob Wives Renee Graziano and Absolutely Fabulous star Helen Lederer are all on the hit list.
Celebrity Big Brother returns to Channel 5 at the end of this month for its eighteenth series.
