Sir Tom Jones to return to The Voice? Source claims “Tom is keen to get back on the show”

Sir Tom Jones may be back on our screens soon as he’s been tipped to make a return to The Voice UK 2017 as the show lands on ITV.

Tom Jones was a judge before on The Voice when the show was on the BBC but he was replaced last year by Boy George – leaving him quite upset.

Now, he’s set to make a comeback as the show gets a new home on ITV, but he’s not 100% confirmed yet as he is still grieving following the death of his wife of 59 years, Melinda Rose Woodward.

A source told The Sun newspaper: “Tom is keen to get back on the show — something he wouldn’t have been if it was still on the Beeb rather than ITV. It’s being seen as a masterstroke to get him back as he’s worked with them all — including ELVIS — and commands respect.

“The only thing that’s holding him back is whether it’s too soon after his wife’s death and whether that makes it the right decision.”

Currently, Will.i.am is the only coach confirmed to be returning to the series when it launches on ITV next year with Emma Willis returning also to host the show alone.
