David Walliam’s is all over our TV screens this Christmas, literally. On Boxing Day, he’ll be fronting Channel 4’s show, Britain’s Favourite Children’s Book where he and guests will be counting down the top 25 until they reach number one.
Rob Brydon, Miranda Hart and Sarah Hadland will be joining David in a set recreated to look like Hogwarts. They’ll be talking about their most favourite bedtime stories and books from when they were kids. Aww.
Authors and illustrators Dame Jacqueline Wilson, Michael Bond, Judith Kerr, Julia Donaldson, Michael Morpungo and Sir Quentin Blake will also feature on the show and share their inspirations for some of their greatest works.
The order in which the books come will be exclusively revealed on the Channel 4 show, although a few books that are in the top 25 include Dame Jacqueline Wilson, Michael Bond, Judith Kerr, Julia Donaldson, Michael Morpungo and Sir Quentin Blake.
Britain’s Favourite Children’s Book airs on Boxing Day at 6:30pm presented by David Walliams.
