Mick Carter was hoping for a trouble-free night at his stag party in the Queen Vic but things don’t necessarily go to plan.

Mick’s brother Dean makes an unexpected appearance at the stag do and he ends up punching his brother in an episode that will be shown on December 28th ahead of the wedding on New Years Day.

A show source said: “As the pair come to blows, Mick punches Dean leading to further tensions amongst the Carters.”

Speaking about the stag do and show boss Dominic Treadwell-Collins, Danny said: “Dom came to me and said ‘look, I want a Danny Dyer stag night’ and I said ‘Are you sure about that?’ and he said ‘yes’.
And so they gave me a bit of input into it. And I thought well, I’m running the most famous pub in the world, I’d say, so we’ll have it there obviously”.

But there is more trouble to come on the actual wedding day as rapist Dean turns up again threatening to ruin the wedding. But will he succeed?

Danny Dyer who plays Mick Carter in the soap said: ”The whole Dean thing, people were saying that it was dragging on and ‘why hasn’t he been arrested’ but this is what happens in real life. People are raped by people they know and they walk the streets.”

”It actually happens it’s not just about being in a soap. Okay he’s me brother. And my sister is my mum. “But I’m just proud to be part of this show and with this stuff here I think we’ve taken it to another level.”

On the day of the wedding viewers will see Dean turn up at the wedding and row with Shirley and when he sees Mick turn up, he pushes Shirley into the lake and tries to drown her, but Mick jumps into the lake to save his mum.

Will Shirley survive and will rapist Dean get arrested or will Mick turn to drastic measures to get rid of his brother for good? We will have to wait and find out, this episode is not to be missed

This episode featuring the punch up airs on December 28. The explosive New Year wedding airs on New Year’s Day at 6:30pn and 8pm on BBC1.
